“Another Earth” review in NYT
Sounds intriguing. Though this line in the review makes me sad:
“Another Earth” is not science fiction in the sense that we have to come to expect it — there are no special effects or monsters other than the failings of human nature itself.
Which is what should be the core of any good Sci-Fi, special effects or no. It’s too bad that people get hung up on the robots and lasers and starships and tune out early.
